For the past 11 years, we've come together at The Paramount Theatre every spring for DOORS: Opening Doors to the Arts to celebrate the many ways Seattle Theatre Group benefits our community. We fundraise in order to open doors to the arts for everyone, with a fun, casual gala that features nationally known artists sharing the stage with young people from STG's Education and Community Programs. Past headliners include The Roots, Elvis Costello, Brandi Carlile, Dave Matthews, Jeff Bridges, Melissa Etheridge, Alan Stone, and Leslie Odom, Jr. to name a few. 

STG had to make the difficult decision not to host our 12th annual DOORS at the theatre on May 2nd, in favor of virtually coming together for an online auction. Knowing that the arts give us comfort in times of need, this decision was not easy.

We know you are considering the many ways you can support your family, friends, and community during this unsettling time. Please give consideration to how you can also help STG. Our service to the community in March and April alone would have included 230 Education and Community Program engagements throughout the region and 150 performances at our historic Paramount, Moore, and Neptune Theatres. We are anticipating a multimillion-dollar shortfall and our doors will be closed and programs on hold until it’s safe again to welcome our community to come together for shared experiences.

• Equitable access to the arts for all ages
• Stewardship of the historic Paramount, Moore, and Neptune Theatres
